J.S. Hovnanian & Sons
The achievements of this distinguished family of builders began over seventy years ago by Stephan K. Hovnanian and continues to this day under the leadership of his son Jirair and grandsons Stephen and Peter. The J.S. Hovnanian family has long played a leading role in both the building industry and community affairs. Jirair Hovnanian is an acknowledged pioneer in local, state and national building issues. Under his leadership the Uniform Building Code and Municipal Land Use Laws were enacted in New Jersey. He instituted major developments in the mortgage and home warranty sectors and has participated in many residential forums.
